What functions include the Smart House machine system, how popular in our country and in our region in particular, and whether people are willing to equip their homes with such modern technologies, the Echo Moscow radio station in Barnaul told Pavel Ceremisin, the technical director of Thop Smart.
♪ Your company handles the smart house technology. For a lot of people, it's probably the future that the fantasy used to write about, when one remote control man can run everything around his house. They've heard about such technologies before, except that they're like burnt from distant countries. How long have these innovations come to Russia?
♪ If we're talking about the world as a whole, that technology is far from new. It was born in America, and in Russia there are about 15 to 20 years, the last 5 to 7 of which have developed rapidly.
♪ Are there people in Russia who are involved in such development?
♪ Yeah. There are small companies that have been present in our market for several years, but in general, it is hardly visible. Regrettably, they are not yet ready to compete with foreign producers because their equipment is not yet equipped with a set of functions that our clients want. We are still using foreign equipment to equip Russian houses with this system.
♪ Does foreign equipment meet all the demands of the Russian consumer?
♪ Yes, so far, thanks to the equipment of modular execution and the existence of a lot of functions, we can set up a smart house management system for a particular consumer, by brick, that's electricity, climate, security, etc. Such a system saved resources. For example, the system allows us to keep warm when we're not home. The system understands that there is no one at home, and reduces energy consumption, disconnects electricity in rooms where people are absent, removes devices that for some reason we forget to turn off before leaving the house.
